1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored by a website in a browser. It can support a secure session, remember a preference or measure usage. Similar technologies include browser local storage, secure mobile-app storage, session identifiers and push tokens. This Policy describes technologies on the public planton.me website and, where relevant, in PlantOn applications. Personal data processing is explained in more detail in the Privacy Policy.
2. Cookie used by the public website
Name: planton-locale Provider: PlantOn (first-party cookie) Purpose: remembers the Croatian or English language explicitly selected by the user Type: functional preference cookie Duration: up to 12 months Path: entire website (/) SameSite: Lax The cookie is not set merely because you first opened the website. It is stored after you select HR or EN so the website does not forget the requested setting. It is not used for cross-site tracking, advertising or marketing profiling.
3. Essential application sessions
When you open an authenticated part of PlantOn, the application must securely remember that you are signed in. Depending on the platform, Supabase may store a session token in secure local storage or a technical cookie. This supports login, authorisation checks, account protection and session renewal; authenticated features cannot work without it. The mobile app may also store language, onboarding completion, local cache and a device push token. These are not browser cookies but are disclosed for transparency. You can remove them by signing out, clearing app data or uninstalling, while some security-related subscriptions may also be revoked server-side.
4. Analytics and advertising
As of the date above, planton.me sets no analytics or marketing cookies and uses no third-party advertising cookies. The public website therefore does not display an optional-cookie consent interface. If we introduce analytics, advertising or another non-essential technology, we will update this list and, before activation, provide an appropriate accept or reject choice where consent is required. Rejecting must be as easy as accepting.
5. External services
If you voluntarily open an external service such as Google sign-in or Paddle checkout, that service may set cookies on its own domain under its policy. PlantOn does not control those cookies. You can review the provider's privacy notice and settings before continuing. Ordinary links to other websites do not by themselves allow those websites to set cookies in your browser until you open them.
6. How to manage cookies
You can change language using HR and EN. You may delete planton-locale in browser settings; the website will then use the browser request language or the language in the page address. Most browsers let you inspect, delete and block cookies per website. Blocking essential authentication storage may sign you out or disable authenticated functions. Mobile notification permission can be changed in device settings.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this Policy when the technologies used change. The last-updated date appears at the top. Questions about cookies and privacy may be sent to info@planton.me.
